Rappahannock Hemp Co. is a Virginia-based corporation dedicated to building an ethically-focused, patient-centered cannabis/hemp pharmaceutical processor.
We will provide a full range of top-quality products to registered patients while ensuring that our work increases financial and social justice. We are creating a vertically integrated (seed-to-consumer) enterprise designed to elevate minority participation in the business and contribute to the enfranchisement of communities that have been disproportionately impacted by drug enforcement and financial discrimination. We understand that cannabis oil is an important option in medical treatment of a wide variety of illnesses. Many medical professionals are welcoming the opportunity to add this option their arsenal of available treatments. As a provider, we will be dedicated to supplying the highest quality options to qualified patients, providing patient consultations, and educating the public on the benefits of these treatments. All of the agricultural and processing activity to produce products will take place in Virginia.
By 2025, we expect to be serving HSA 1 and beyond, making a profit, and will have more than 50% of minorities participating on every level of product lifecycle: from growth, to processing to distribution and sales.

We are looking for expertise in our leadership team that directly supports our vision and mission. Because we are a new organization, we have the opportunity to build a purposefully fair and inclusive organization from Board members to everyday skilled labor. We will be drawing on the extensive medical expertise in Virginia and will look to the state’s educational institutions for Board members and Subject Matter Experts.
